This is a little bit of a request post. My best friend has entered a modelling competition as an alternative model, and if she wins she gets to be on a photoshoot, and get her hair and make up done professionally. She has confidence issues and to be honest I think she really deserves to see how beautiful she truly is and I think winning something like this would make her confidence sky rocket. She's an amazing person and I couldn't ask for a better friend tbh.

New Blog for Japan!

Hey guys, I haven't been blogging lately as I've been doing so much, travelling around Europe before I leave for Japan, and of course getting ready for Japan! Only two months before I move there!!

I'm going to be using a new blog when I'm over there which I WILL update daily, with pictures and how life is in Japan, along with the fashion, food, lifestyle and culture!

Japan March 2012!

As a lot of you know in March 2012 I will be volunteering in a Care Home in Japan! The country has been through so much in the past year and I want to give as much help as possible to a place that truely needs it. I hope to learn from the residents and find myself whilst on the journey. The total fee is £3200, and any amount helps go a long way to get me there! :)

Today I went to town with my mom. I had to take some clothes back and I bought a cute dress which I'll show you in a different post.

Volunteering In Japan 2012!

The title says it all really, I've been searching the internet for a while now, and a few months ago I found the perfect volunteering experience for Japan!

It'll be for 6 months by myself, and I'd be working in either a hospital, or for the community.

I have passed my first interview, and my second is being scheduled as I write this! I am so excited, I really hope I pass the second interview which is secure my place in the group of 25 other volunteers from across the world.

If I get onto the programme, the blog with be updated regularly telling you how I'm raising the money, what I'm buying for the trip, and how I'm preparing. And also during the trip, the way there, and during the placement. Don't worry, I'll make sure I have a camera by then ;)

What do you think? Would you ever travel and volunteer abroad?

Grecian Trend

I got home from holiday Thursday and managed to take a couple of pictures on my phone.

This is one of my outfits from the holiday, and I was channelling the Grecian trend.

I'm on the left and I have black contact lenses in also, I have blue eyes really, but my friend and I decided to freak everyone that knew us out ;) I have to say, I looked a little like a vampire/demon.

You can't see my dress that well, however it looks like this full length.

It's from Primark, however I believe it's not in the stores any more.

I also wore nude ballerina flats as Lanzarote isn't busy enough to wear heels, you stand out too much ;P & my jewellery is from Bijou Brigitte!
